References to FINAL FANTASY XIII, XIII-2, Lightning Returns & FINAL FANTASY Type-0

1. The shop Esthaime's Aesthetics is named after Hope Estheim.

2. In the event Lightning Strikes you could obtain outfits based on Lightning and Snow, and also weapons from the games FF XIII, FF XIII-2 and FF XIII Lightning Returns.

These items are now available in the Online Shop.

3. Enemies from FF XIII are found in FF XIV, mostly in Allagan related areas.

4. During the event Lightning Strikes there's a Harbor Herald article called "The Trinkets of Esthaime's Lapidaries Fail to Strike Lightning's Fancy" linking both references.

I searched high and low for an image of this and can't find it, hopefully S-E repeats the event someday and I can put it here.

5. Lightning and Snow's hairstyles are available for players once they finish the Lightning Strikes event, although now they're also available thru the Online Shop.

Some NPCs in the game have Lightning's hairstyle as well, like the lalafel that Jandelaine fixes up in "Beauty Is Only Scalp Deep"

6. Female Gunbreaker's idle pose is Lightning's battle pose.

7. Ruin is a spell that first appeared in FF XIII, it shares the same animation and effect as in that game.

8. In the quest Rolling with the Snowies, the snowman says "Revolutionaries always get called crazy". This is a line said by Fang in FF XIII.

9. An NPC in the quest Yes We Can't in the All Saints Wake 2014 event says a phrase that includes the words "sugar and rainbows", which was also used by Sazh in FF XIII.

10. Serah's staring weapon, the Starseeker, as well as Mog's Staff, can be obtained in the Lightning Strikes event.

11. The Aspect of Chaos, the last boss of the Lightning Strikes event uses the model of Chaos Bahamut.

12. Ultros has the same model as his FF XIII-2 incarnation, albeit smaller. At the end of his fight, he gets cooked in a maner similar to that of FF XIII-2

13. The quest "So You Think You Can Ride This Chocobo" is named after the lyrics of Crazy Chocobo from FF XIII-2

14. Zaghnal makes an appeareance in FF XIV as minor enemies in the Twinning, as well as the first boss of the same dungeon as the Alpha Zaghnal.

15. A weapon used by Snow in the opening cinematic of Lightning Returns, the l'Cie Bardiche, was obtainable in one of the FATEs in the event Lightning Strikes. It is now obtainable through the Online Shop.

16. After the events of the Praetorium, Gaius Baelsar took the title of Shadowhunter as he hunted Ascians down. Shadowhunter was also Noel Kreiss's title in Lightning Returns.

17. Milites Magitek enemies from Type-0 can be found in the Bozjan Southern Front, as well as being able to obtain some mounts of them like the Gabriel-a.
